Planned Workshop Types

These are the kinds of sessions we offer with library and community partners. Specific dates are announced only after a host location and schedule are confirmed.

Planned workshop type 1

Building

Students explore the foundations of engineering by learning about different disciplines, including Mechanical, Electrical, Civil, and Chemical Engineering. They discover what each type of engineer does and how engineers solve real-world problems, building a strong conceptual understanding of how engineering impacts everyday life.

Planned workshop type 2

Coding

Students are introduced to Python, a powerful and beginner-friendly programming language. Through guided instruction and hands-on practice, each participant creates their own simple Python game by the end of the session, giving them a tangible and rewarding first coding experience.

Planned workshop type 3

Artificial Intelligence

Students learn how AI works behind the scenes, including how it processes information and supports decisions. Real-world examples, such as Instagram feed recommendations and Spotify song suggestions, help make these concepts familiar and relatable.

Responsible AI

Just as importantly, students are taught how to use AI responsibly without becoming overly dependent on it. They learn that AI is a powerful tool for learning and creating, but it should be used thoughtfully because overuse can reduce critical thinking and independent learning.

Completed Programs

Where We've Made an Impact

Completed

Clifton Public Library

This program was hosted at the Clifton Public Library in Clifton, New Jersey, where I taught a group of 3rd–5th grade students through interactive STEM activities. We also held an extra session for a hands-on Coke and Mentos demonstration, used to explain the science behind the eruption and introduce the concept of physical vs. chemical changes, learning to figure out why it is actually a physical reaction rather than a chemical change.

Completed

Allwood Branch Library

This program was held at the Allwood Branch Library, where I taught a group of grade school students through several fun, hands-on STEM activities. The session encouraged students to explore core scientific concepts through engaging demonstrations and guided experimentation.

Our Approach

Why Our Programs Work

One of the most important parts of these programs is the ability to turn difficult or complex topics into simple, engaging, and fun learning experiences that spark students' interest in engineering.

Our goal is not just to teach STEM concepts, but to spark curiosity and inspire a lasting interest in engineering.

Built for engagement

What makes our programs effective

  • Hands-On Learning

Incorporating activities that reinforce concepts through real interaction.

  • Real-World Relevance

Using examples students already understand and experience daily.

  • Interactive Teaching

Keeping students engaged through participation, not passive listening.
